Are toughened glass partitions safe?
Yes. Toughened (tempered) glass is 4-5 times stronger than normal glass. On the rare chance it breaks, it fragments into small blunt granules instead of dangerous shards. We only use IS-2553 compliant toughened glass with a bug-mark for identification.
What is the difference between profile glass and frameless glass doors?
Profile-glass doors use a slim aluminium frame around the glass and typically slide on top-hung tracks. Frameless glass doors have no frame — they use patch fittings and floor pivots. Frameless looks cleaner but is more expensive and takes longer to install.
Do you install automatic sliding doors?
Yes — with Dorma, Sanwa or Ozone automation. Sensor-activated, battery-backup, panic-mode override — everything a commercial-grade entry needs.
How do you handle sound insulation between office cabins?
For meaningful acoustic reduction (STC 35+) we install double-glazed partitions with 6-12mm air/argon gap and acoustic gaskets. Single-glazed 10mm gives visual privacy but only marginal sound reduction.
Can you retrofit glass partitions into an existing office?
Yes. Most retrofits happen over a weekend so business hours are unaffected. We measure the shell, fabricate off-site for a week, and install in 1-2 nights.
